Wizkid Sets Records In Nigerian Music

Nigerian music icon Wizkid has become the first singer to sell out the 20,000 capacity Eko Atlantic City arena when he held his Made In Lagos concert.

Also, Concise News understands that the singer held his VIP Experience concert at the Eko Convention Centre, where he sold out the 6,000-capacity hall.

Wizkid also recently sold about 20,000 tickets to people in the United Kingdom, 30,000 in Abidjan and 40,000 in Benin Republic.

It was learned that at the concert, Wizkid revealed that he begged Duncan Mighty to allow him drop a verse in their hit song “Fake Love”, contrary to the opinion that he wrote the song.

Ronaldo given Best Player nod at Globe Soccer Awards

Cristiano Ronaldo beat Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann and Paris Saint-Germain sensation Kylian Mbappe to the award. Cristiano Ronaldo claimed the Best Player as the Juventus superstar scooped two honours at the 2019 Globe Soccer Awards.  Ronaldo reigned supreme in Dubai, where he beat Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann and Paris Saint-Germain sensation Kylian Mbappe to the award on Thursday.  It marked the third consecutive year Ronaldo was crowned the award's best player, and fifth in total since 2011.  Last season Ronaldo and Real Madrid took a clean sweep of the awards, with Ronaldo claiming Best Player, Zinedine Zidane taking Best Coach and the Spanish giants earning Best Club.   The five-time Ballon d'Or winner also received the Fans' Award at the ceremony in the United Arab Emirates.  "What better way to start the new year. There's another little girl on the way for  Kobe Bryant  and  Vanessa Bryant .  On New Year's Day, the retired basketball living legend and his longtime wife announced they are expecting their fourth child together.
